ORIENTAL CHAPTER #187 – O.E.S.
Dear Oriental Members,
Just wanted to thank everyone who helped with our September meeting. We had supper, School of Instructions, we honored our 50 year member, June Sether, we honored our Chaplains (wonderful turn out) and had treats afterwards. Thank you all very much. It takes many people to put a meeting together.
We want to ask prayers for our members who are not feeling well; Marie and Warren Hinze, Dorothee Angel, Margaret Boehne, our Worthy Patron’s wife, Donna Kumm and anyone I have forgotten. Blessings to you all for better health.
Let’s not forget to pay your dues for 2008, purchase tickets for Swiss Steak Dinner, purchase tickets for Waffle Breakfast, John Kriesel benefit, and Helen Johnson’s home coming dinner. Send to Donna Erickson or see her with your funds. We have many fund raisers coming up. Debbie will also have tickets to purchase pies as a fund raiser. The tickets would make good gifts or purchase your pie for our Swiss Steak dinner. We need your help again in October…

October 2 - Star meeting, 7:30 PM
October 6 - Set-up for Swiss Steak dinner, 9:00 am
Practice for officers for Oct. 16 meeting.
October 7 - Swiss Steak Dinner, serving 11:00 am until 1:30 PM.
Officers/workers come at 10:00 am; cooks come earlier.
Please bring your pies for dessert.
October 13 - Waffle breakfast (Partners for Life fund-raiser at Masonic Center)
October 16 - Sister Helen’s WGM Homecoming Dinner, 6:00 PM
Entertainment at 7:00 PM, meeting at 7:30 PM.
Bottle Auction & homemade Root Beer Floats afterwards, thanks to Syd & Judy Schwartz.
